A community based, non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving and protecting Timbuctoo, and engaging educational initiatives.

Read about Timbuctoo and its people as they were presented in Timbuctoo’s heyday, including an 1100 word article on the Battle of Pine Swamp, in which Timbuctoo residents overtook “kidnapper” George Alberti and his posse, who “left the scene of their brilliant achievement as if old Satan was after them,” according to an 1860 issue of The New Jersey Mirror.
